FRANCESTOWN, N.H. — Three young individuals were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 47 late Tuesday night.
According to police, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. when a Ford sedan veered off the right side of the roadway, collided with a telephone pole, and rolled onto its roof. All three occupants—Aiden Brissett, 19, of Bennington; Seth Fowler, 19, and Luis Torres, 18, both of Antrim—were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the pole was broken in the accident, causing widespread power outages in the area. Crews from Eversource responded to restore power, which was fully restored by 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The road was closed for approximately five hours during the investigation and cleanup. Police are looking into the circumstances that led to the vehicle leaving the roadway.
