Warren County Crash Causes Temporary Delays
An early morning crash on I-70 in Warren County on Tuesday caused significant delays.
Authorities reported that a tractor-trailer overturned and caught fire around 5:52 a.m., blocking the eastbound lane between Warrenton and Wright City. The incident prompted a temporary closure of the highway as emergency crews responded to the scene.
The Warrenton Fire Protection District confirmed that the roadway was cleared, and traffic has since resumed to normal. The Missouri Department of Transportation’s traffic maps indicated that the area near the 195.6-mile marker was no longer affected by the incident.
No injuries have been reported, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
