Serious injuries reported in high-speed motorcycle crash in Oak Grove

TOWN OF OAK GROVE, Wis. (WKOW) – A 22-year-old Beaver Dam man sustained serious injuries in a high-speed crash Saturday afternoon on County Highway A.

The accident occurred at approximately 2:04 p.m., just south of County Highway S. According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the man was riding a 2025 Kawasaki northbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control after passing several vehicles.

The motorcycle veered off the road, traveled through an east shoulder ditch, and struck a culvert. The rider, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and collided with a tree. The bike continued moving and came to rest against a nearby house. No other injuries were reported.

The man was airlifted by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities arrested him on suspicion of impairment.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Team is handling the ongoing investigation. Assisting agencies at the scene included the Juneau Fire Department, Juneau EMS, Horicon Fire and EMS, and Beaver Dam EMS.
