MANCHESTER, NH – A 27-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident at a Taco Bell parking lot on September 17.
According to police, Maria Camila Posada Canizales of Manchester surrendered on Monday after a warrant was issued for her arrest last week. She is facing charges of felony conduct after an accident.
Authorities reported that at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers responded to a car versus pedestrian crash at the Taco Bell located at 1050 Second St. Upon arrival, they found 60-year-old Juliana Harbeck of Rindge severely injured. Harbeck was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
Canizales is currently in custody awaiting a scheduled court appearance on Tuesday.
