Brad Everett Young, 46, Dies in Los Angeles Crash

Brad Everett Young, a 46-year-old actor and photographer, died in a vehicle crash on the 134 Freeway in Los Angeles, according to his representative.

Young's vehicle was struck by another car traveling in the wrong direction around 3:15 p.m. on October 2. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

Born on January 16, 1977, Young gained prominence for his roles in “Grey's Anatomy,” “I Love You, Man,” and “General Hospital.” Beyond acting, he was an established photographer, contributing to notable publications such as Vanity Fair and Vogue, and had worked with numerous celebrities.

Young also founded Dream Loud Official, which advocates for the restoration of arts education in U.S. schools. He emphasized the importance of creativity in learning.

“Brad's passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched,” stated his representative, Paul Christensen.

Following the news, tributes poured in from industry figures. Chris McKenna of “General Hospital” shared photographs by Young and noted, “We won't see another like him.” Parry Shan, also from “General Hospital,” commended Young's kindness and positivity, revealing that he often declined payment for his photography to support fellow actors.

Young is survived by his brother, Chris.
