Two Injured in Fiery Crash in Naugatuck Thursday Night
NAUGATUCK, CT — Two people sustained injuries in a crash involving two vehicles on Prospect Street near Fulling Mills Deli on September 18 at approximately 9:45 p.m. One vehicle caught fire as a result of the collision.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to authorities. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Prospect Street was closed between Union Street and Picture Lane for about two hours while emergency responders cleared the scene. The road has since reopened to traffic.
The incident is under investigation by local police. No additional details are available at this time.
