Serious injuries reported in multi-vehicle crash in Plaistow

Plaistow, NH—Two individuals, including a child, were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main and Pine streets on Thursday at approximately 3:43 p.m., according to the Plaistow Fire Department.

Emergency responders reported that four vehicles were involved in the collision. One woman was trapped in her vehicle, which had landed on its side, prompting a rescue operation that lasted about 40 minutes.

Both the seriously injured adult and child were airlifted to trauma centers for treatment. While authorities did not disclose specific injury details, they confirmed the range varied from life-threatening to minor.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by State Police. No further information regarding traffic disruptions or additional injuries has been released.
