Serious Injuries Reported in Deep River Car-Pedestrian Incident
DEEP RIVER, CT—A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Union Street, according to State Police.
Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 2:41 p.m. to reports of the collision. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Union Street was closed for a period following the incident but has since reopened.
