LEELANAU COUNTY, Mich. – M-22 is back open to normal traffic as of 5:57 p.m. following a serious traffic crash that closed the road for several hours, according to the Leelanau County Sheriff’s Office.
A stretch of M-22 was shut down due to the incident, which occurred Wednesday between Crain Hill Road and East Lakeview Hills Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and road closures were expected to last until approximately 6 p.m.
