Interstate 84 West Reopened After Southington Car Fire
Southington, CT – Interstate 84 West has reopened following a car fire that occurred Wednesday night.
According to authorities, the highway was temporarily closed between exits 31 and 30. The incident, which involved a two-car crash, was reported shortly after 9 p.m.
State Police indicated that the crash resulted in minor injuries. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene to assist. The involved vehicle was subsequently towed, and the area has since been cleared.
