Motorcyclist Dies in Danville Bypass Crash
DANVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the Danville Bypass at Belinda Boulevard on Wednesday.
Authorities reported that 21-year-old Cody Garrett of Danville was riding his Honda motorcycle westbound on the Bypass. A Chevrolet Trailblazer, attempting a left turn onto Belinda Boulevard, entered his path.
The collision resulted in the motorcycle striking two stationary vehicles on Belinda. Garrett was transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
The incident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
