OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. — A man is dead, and a woman is injured following a crash on N Hwy 1694 early Friday morning.
According to the Oldham County Police Department, officers responded to the 2800 block of N Hwy 1694 just before 8 a.m. Authorities report that a woman was traveling north when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree.
The female driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. Her passenger, 46-year-old Roberto Mencia of Louisville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Oldham County Police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash. They urge anyone with information to contact them at 502-222-1300.
