Vehicular Homicide: Segall Sentenced to 60 Years After DUI Crash

KALISPELL, Mont. — Dal Segall accepted a plea agreement in Flathead County District Court via Zoom on Thursday, facing charges in connection with a fatal December 2024 crash in Bigfork.

Segall has been charged with one count of vehicular homicide while driving under the influence and three counts of felony negligent vehicular assault causing serious bodily injury. He pleaded guilty to all charges.

As part of the plea agreement, Segall received a sentence of 60 years in prison, with 20 years suspended. He was also ordered to pay $5,325 in restitution to cover funeral expenses.

Segall is required to attend his sentencing in person, scheduled for December 12 at 9 a.m. Authorities confirmed the outcome of the court proceedings and reiterated the need for in-person attendance at sentencing.
