Motorcyclist Dies in Highlands Crash After Crossing Center Line

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A crash in the Highlands has left one man dead.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded to a call at Eastern Parkway and Baxter Avenue just before 4 a.m. on Sunday. The motorcyclist, identified as 23-year-old Charles Warren, crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle.

Warren, who was riding alone and was not wearing a helmet, sustained multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed there were no other individuals on the at the time of the accident.

Officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and have not ruled out the potential influence of alcohol. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
