DRY RIDGE, Ky. — A single-vehicle crash in Bourbon County on Sunday resulted in the death of a 32-year-old man.
Willie Walker of Carlisle was driving eastbound on U.S. 68 when he lost control, ran off the road, and collided with a tree. The vehicle overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Authorities believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
