A 29-year-old man from Georgetown, Marco Lobos-Simaj, has died following a single-vehicle crash on Hardscrabble Road on August 19.
According to the Delaware State Police, Lobos-Simaj was driving a Honda Pilot eastbound on Hardscrabble Road when he lost control, veered into a ditch, and collided with a tree. The vehicle then overturned multiple times before striking another tree. The crash occurred around 7 p.m.
Lobos-Simaj was transported to the hospital with critical injuries and succumbed to his injuries on August 27.
Delaware State Police are actively investigating the incident. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact them or reach out to Delaware Crime Stoppers.
