Lede: A 76-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on July 3 near Dover at the intersection of Birchfield Drive and Forest Avenue.
According to the Delaware State Police, Anna Skeans of Dover was driving a white Honda Accord when she entered the intersection and collided with a Hyundai Veloster. The Hyundai, driven by a 17-year-old male from Marydel, Maryland, struck the right front of Skeans’ vehicle as it was traveling west on Forest Avenue.
Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The Hyundai driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as confirmed by authorities on July 4.
