Anoka Man Dies in Champlin Crash

An Anoka man was pronounced dead following a single-vehicle crash in Champlin on Sunday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chrysler 300 was traveling northbound on Highway 169 at approximately 3:50 a.m. when it left the roadway and collided with a light pole at the intersection near West River Road.

Officers arrived on the scene to find the driver, identified as 35-year-old Adonis Raven Turner, unresponsive. He was later declared dead at the scene.

Authorities reported that Turner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. It remains unclear if alcohol played a role in the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
