Ambulance Overturned in West Valley Collision; Minor Injuries Reported
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An overturned ambulance disrupted traffic in the west valley on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Charleston Boulevard near the 215 Beltway, according to Nevada State Police. Authorities reported that the ambulance was responding to a call with lights and sirens activated when it was struck by an SUV, causing it to flip onto its side.
One ambulance employee riding in the rear sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Westbound lanes of Charleston Boulevard were closed for several hours but reopened around 11 a.m. as authorities cleared the scene.
Nevada State Police are conducting an investigation into the collision. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
