JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. — A single-vehicle crash on Highway 99 resulted in the death of a 59-year-old woman on Tuesday, August 19, at 2:50 p.m.
According to Oregon State Police, a Ford Ranger driven by Katrina Ann Knight of Grants Pass was traveling south when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, rolled over, and struck a utility pole. Knight was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders closed the highway for approximately one hour while the scene was investigated. The Oregon Department of Transportation assisted OSP during the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
