NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Raquel Lorena Sarabia Barajas, 37, has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Bell Road and Harris Hills Lane early Sunday morning.
According to Metro Police, the incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. when the driver of a Maserati crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Nissan in which Barajas was a passenger. The driver of the Nissan sustained life-threatening injuries.
The Maserati driver, Julio Ceasar Herrera Gonzalez, 36, suffered minor injuries. Authorities reported that Gonzalez is facing multiple charges, including DUI and vehicular homicide.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing. No lane closures were reported.
