CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Over 100,000 Jaguar vehicles have been recalled due to a potentially defective part that may increase the risk of a crash.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 121,509 Jaguar Land Rover Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports are affected by a potentially cracked front suspension knuckle. This issue could lead to the detachment of the upper suspension arm, compromising the vehicle’s controllability.
The recall includes:
- Land Rover Range Rovers from 2014 to 2017
- Land Rover Range Rover Sports from 2014 to 2017
Despite 96 complaints regarding this issue, no accidents or injuries have been reported.
Jaguar has notified dealers about the recall, effective August 19. Affected customers can bring their vehicles to authorized dealerships for complimentary repairs or part replacements as needed.
