Driver Wanted for Homicide Crashes into Uninvolved Vehicle

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a crash involving a pursued driver and an uninvolved vehicle that occurred Monday evening.

The incident took place around 5:13 p.m. at East 78th Avenue and York Street. A black Ford F-150 heading westbound on East 78th Avenue collided with a 2022 Subaru Ascent making a left turn from York Street. The front of the Ford struck the front passenger side of the Subaru.

Both the driver and passenger in the Subaru were unharmed. Authorities indicated that the driver of the Ford F-150 was wanted for attempted homicide and first-degree murder. The pursuit by Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies was halted when the suspect entered Interstate 25 from 84th Avenue due to safety concerns.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
