Durham, CT. – One person was killed and another was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident at an intersection in Durham on Monday morning.
According to the police, the collision occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Route 17 near the intersection of Corn Club Road.
The 86-year-old Northford man was driving a pickup truck when he collided head-on with another car.
A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.
His passenger was also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The driver of the third car was unharmed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
