DeKalb County, MO. – A woman was killed in a car crash that happened on Thursday afternoon in DeKalb County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on MO 31 at MO 6.
An 18-year-old man was driving a 2007 GMC Envoy southbound on MO 31 when he collided with a 2001 Dodge 1500 traveling west on MO 6.
The impact of the collision caused the GMC to overturn and land on its top.
The 37-year-old woman in the GMC Envoy died at the scene.
The GMC driver and his passengers, a 15-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The other driver was also seriously injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
