Call Center Established for Victims of UPS Plane Crash in Louisville
A call center is now operational for individuals affected by the UPS plane crash in Louisville on Nov. 4.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:13 p.m. as the aircraft departed from UPS Worldport at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, en route to Honolulu, Hawaii. According to officials, the crash resulted in 14 fatalities, including all three crew members onboard. At least a dozen others suffered injuries, and several nearby businesses were also impacted.
As of Tuesday, one week post-crash, support services are available for those affected. Individuals can reach the call center at 502-473-5271. The center operates from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., excluding Sundays.
Authorities are continuing to assess the situation and provide necessary resources to the community.
