UPS Plane Crash Triggers Mental Health Support for Community

Louisville Mayor Addresses Mental Health Resources Following UPS Plane Crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mayor Craig Greenberg announced on social media Friday that the city is offering mental health resources to support families and survivors affected by Tuesday's fatal UPS plane crash.

The mayor highlighted the availability of trained professionals for those coping with the incident. “I know that there are many others in the community beyond the families that are also struggling right now. This is a difficult time of year already for many, and having to deal with the aftermath of a tragic crash like this makes it even worse,” Greenberg stated.

He urged anyone in need of mental health support to contact local resources by calling 502-574-6949.
