MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A vehicle crash on northbound I-270 at Exit 10 resulted in a car split in half and abandoned in the woods.
According to Montgomery County Fire Rescue, emergency personnel responded to the scene and utilized thermal imaging cameras to search for occupants but found no one inside the vehicle.
Authorities later located the driver walking uninjured along Montgomery Village Avenue. The specific cause of the crash is under investigation. No lane closures or additional hazards were reported following the incident.
