LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a late-night crash on I-75 northbound near mile marker 48 in Laurel County.
The collision, which involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle, occurred Wednesday night, prompting a shutdown of the interstate. Authorities stated that the roadway was closed for several hours as emergency responders worked at the scene.
The interstate has since reopened as of 6:35 a.m. Thursday. No further details regarding injuries, fatalities, or the cause of the crash have been released by KSP.
