Crash and shooting outside adult club leaves two critically injured.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A car crash and shooting outside The Pony adult entertainment club on Lafayette Road early Sunday left two people critically injured and another in stable condition.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the incident at approximately 3:05 a.m. on October 19, 2025. A vehicle crashed into barriers outside the club and struck a man and a woman. The woman was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, while the man suffered injuries and was reported stable.

The driver of the car was found at the scene with gunshot wounds and is also in critical condition. Authorities stated that an off-duty officer, not affiliated with IMPD, discharged their weapon, striking the driver. It remains unclear if the officer was working security or attending as a patron, and details about their employing agency have not been disclosed.

As of 6:30 a.m., investigators are looking into the events surrounding the crash and shooting. No further information about additional injuries or fatalities has been released.
