Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Denver

Lede: A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run accident involving a gray GMC Sierra pickup truck on West Alameda Avenue in Athmar Park Friday evening.

Denver police are actively searching for the female driver, reportedly in her mid-20s, who fled the scene. The crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Alameda Avenue, as confirmed by authorities.

The pickup truck involved is identified as a 2015 GMC Sierra with Colorado license plate EFC-I90. It was last seen in the area shortly after the collision and is described as having a black bed cover and noticeable damage to the passenger-side truck bed and bumper. An American flag decal is also reported on the lower left corner of the windshield.

The identity of the injured motorcyclist has not been disclosed, and emergency services provided aid at the scene.
