91-Year-Old Woman Dies in Crawford County Car Crash
A 91-year-old woman from Cuba, Mo., died following a head-on collision on Highway C in Crawford County on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash involved a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country and a 2020 Cadillac Escalade, occurring approximately one mile west of Gerth Road. Authorities reported that the Cadillac driver crossed the center line, resulting in the collision.
The Chrysler driver, the deceased woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cadillac driver, a 61-year-old man from Bourbon, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Washington for medical treatment.
MSHP noted that the woman was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, while the man was not. The investigation remains ongoing.
