Arkoe, MO. – Three people were hospitalized after being injured in a car crash near Arkoe on Wednesday morning.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Route VV at State Route N.
A 74-year-old man was driving a 2003 Ford Ranger westbound on State Route VV when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a 2007 Ford F-150 traveling northbound on Route N.
The impact of the collision caused the 2003 Ford Ranger to roll onto its passenger side.
The driver of the 2003 Ford Ranger and his 66-year-old passenger were transported to SSM Health St. Francis Hospital in Maryville for treatment of moderate injuries.
The driver of the Ford F-150 was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
