JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. — A Seymour man was killed in a crash on U.S. 31 Monday night.
According to the Indiana State Police, Robert Robbins, 27, lost control of his vehicle while navigating a curve near Comiskey Pike and struck a guardrail. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators noted that Robbins was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Authorities believe that both speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
