Delaware County, OH. – One person was killed in a wrong-way crash that left one other person injured in Liberty Township, Delaware County, on Thursday night.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 10:40 p.m. on U.S. Route 23 south of Cheshire Road.
A 50-year-old man was driving a Honda CRV southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. Route 23 when it collided head-on with a Ford Transit van.
The 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
